Establishment of the Committee

The Select Committee on Appointments was established on Wednesday 27th October, 2022, pursuant to the provisions of the Standing Order 202(1).

Functions of the Committee

Pursuant to the Provisions of the Standing Order 202(4), the Committee on Appointments shall consider, for approval by the County Assembly, appointments under Articles 179(2) (Members of County Executive Committees).
