THAT, aware that thousands of youths in Nairobi City County have different sports talents and skills; further aware that the unemployment rate continues to rise leading to many anti-social criminal activities, idleness and frustrations that undermine the stability of the economy of the County; concerned that talented youths in sports within the County have no well-structured avenues where they can exercise their sport talent and skills in order to earn a living; noting that talent in sports is a source of income to the individuals as well as revenue to the County; this Assembly urges the County Government to establish inter-ward sports competitions for youths in the County which can act as an avenue to scout for talented youth in sports.
