THAT, aware that Nairobi City is getting overpopulated and there is need to have an efficient transport system; deeply concerned that Nairobi City streets have no special lanes for the motorcycles and many accidents occur on daily basis; further aware that some of these motorcycles are known to use pavements therefore causing unnecessary traffic jam; and that to avoid future disasters since our hospitals are recording a high number of motorcycle victims, there is need to urgently deal with the situation; this Assembly resolves that the County Government bans motorcycles and tuk tuks from entering the City Centre.
