THAT, aware that sufficient security and effective transport system have a significant contribution to the economy of a country; further aware that boda boda transport have expedited the efficiency of transportation in Kenya and more so in Nairobi City County; deeply concerned that the use of motorcycles within the City has contributed to the increase in road accidents, traffic snarl- ups and crimes; noting that some criminals use motorbikes to commit crimes and flee from crime scene; this Assembly urges the County Government to develop guideline or regulations requiring all boda boda operators to register with saccos for identification of motorcycles which will reduce the dynamics in the transport and security sectors.
