That, taking into consideration the findings of the Sectoral Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in its Report on the Vetting of Nominee for Approval as Chief Officer, laid on the Table of the Assembly on Tuesday, 21st May, 2024 and pursuant to the provisions of Section 45 (1)(b) of the County Governments Act, 2012, Sections 3 and 9 of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval) Act, 2017 and Standing Order 48 (4) and 209(6)(f), this Assembly approves the appointment of Gladwell Cheruiyot as Chief Officer for Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources.
