THAT, aware that an effective transport system has a significant contribution to the economy of a country; further aware that increased public service vehicle transport has expedited the efficiency of transportation in Kenya and more so in Nairobi City County; deeply concerned that some bus stages are located at road intersections and roundabouts in various County roads, which has contributed to difficulty in accessing acceleration and deceleration lanes resulting in traffic snarl-ups that translate to lost man-hours by motorists, especially during rush hour; this Assembly urges the County Government in conjunction with the National Government to relocate all bus stages away from road junctions and roundabouts to ease traffic within the County.
