THAT, aware that Article 35 (2) of the Constitution states that every citizen has a right of access to information held by the any person and required for the exercise or protection of any right or fundamental freedom; further aware that the Nairobi City County Government has many different offices under various Departments; concerned that some Departments in the City Hall Main Building have offices at City Hall Annex which are not well labeled for identification hence leading to futility by members of the public in accessing information and services at the County offices; noting that the main function of the County Government is to provide services to County residents, this Assembly urges the County Executive to provide strategic directions to each County office and an information desk located strategically at every entry point to the County Offices in order to direct the Members of the Public to various offices and enhance efficient service delivery.
