THAT, aware that Article 26 of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) gives the citizen of this Country and residents of Nairobi City County a right to life; further ware that Health Services including County Health facilities and primary health care have been devolved to the County Governments pursuant to paragraph 2 of Part Two of the Fourth Schedule to the Constitution; concerned that most of the County health facilities are in deteriorating state with inadequate medical supplies, lack of crucial medical equipment and human resource; this Assembly urges the County Government to equip all County health facilities with requisite equipment, materials, sufficient medical supplies and adequate well trained personnel to ensure that residents of Nairobi County get the required services.
